Sit lower. Stay longer

A deep, corduroy-wrapped floor sofa in eight loose pieces. Stack it into a sofa, spread it into a bed, rearrange it whenever the room asks. No tools, no bolts, no rules.

Furniture that meets you where you are

Most sofas ask you to sit up. The Holm asks you to settle in. We took the legs away, kept the depth, and wrapped the whole thing in a fine-wale corduroy that invites a hand across it every time you walk past.

Every part is separate — bases, seat cushions, bolsters — so the same eight pieces become a sofa, a two-person lounge, or a 200 × 200 cm bed. The only hardware is a pair of brushed-steel frames that slip over each end and keep the bolsters exactly where you left them.

A sofa by day. A lounge by night.

Bolsters up.

Two bolsters as arms, two as a low back. Seats three closely or two generously, with 70 cm of seat depth to sit sideways in.

Cushions flat.

Slide the two modules together and lay the bolsters along one edge. Two square metres of even, low comfort — a bed for guests, a floor for films.

Loose pieces, held by steel.

01 Two bases, two seats

Each module is a firm base with a thick seat cushion on top. Stack them for a sofa; set them side by side for a bed.

02 Four bolsters

Two for the arms, two for the back. They are the same size on purpose, so any of them can go anywhere.

03 Brushed-steel frames

A single bent tube on each end. It looks light because it is, and it holds the bolsters in place without a bolt or a bracket.

04 A low, deep seat

70 cm of depth and a 32 cm seat height. Deep enough to curl into, low enough to feel like the floor.

Corduroy, up close.

Fine-wale corduroy, woven with a short, dense pile. From a distance it reads as velvet; up close you can count every rib. It is soft enough to fall asleep on and sturdy enough for daily life with people, pets and plates.

It also does something most flat fabrics cannot: it holds shadow. The ribs give the sofa a texture that keeps a minimal room from feeling empty, without adding a single pattern.

The pile has a direction. Brush it one way and the color deepens; the other way and it lightens. That is the nature of the cloth, not a fault.
